We present an exemplary didactic digital scenario with 5 phases with a complete STEM methodology. The topic of the scenario is the electrically heated catalytic converter of cars. The catalytic converter, in order to function, is required to reach an operating temperature of 350 degrees Celsius and above. With the preheating before starting the engine, it is heated and is ready to immediately begin the conversion of pollutants with the ignition of the engine. Without this electrical preheating in the first minutes, the engine emits pollutants that cannot be converted into more environmentally friendly ones.
